  • Judith Ellen Helmerich Clem, age 81, of Hot Springs Village, AR, passed away April 16, 2019 in Hot Springs, AR. She was born December 5, 1937 to Ralph and Helen Helmerich in Dayton, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents, and twin sister, Joanne Mary Helmerich Brennan.

    Judy is survived by her husband, Ray Clem of 50 years, children, Scott Patrick Clem of California and Jodi Clem of California, granddaughter, Mackenzie Clem of California and one brother, John Helmerich of Denver, CO.

    Judy graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton, OH and in 1960 obtained an undergraduate degree from Depauw in Greencastle, Indiana. In 1962 she obtained an undergraduate registered nursing degree from Depauw and later her masters in nursing from Florida State. A memorial service will be held May 5, 2019, 2:30 p.m., at Village Bible Church in Hot Springs

    Judy's passing has left a void in all our hearts. At her best, Judy's compassion was contagious and her laughter would fill the room. We are blessed to have called her "friend". Her love of our Lord sustained her through the most difficult of times. Ray, Jodi, and Scott, may you all find strength in His promise of eternal life. Our thoughts and prayers our with you.
